October brought a great school and library tour of BC’s Kootenays. My wife, Nancy, and I visited eight towns: Fruitvale, Kaslo, Nelson, Salmo, Cranbrook, Kimberly, Fernie and Sparwood. I got the chance to share the creation process of my latest graphic novel, Dalen and Gole: Scandal in Port Angus and meet some great aspiring artists. The hospitality and scenery were fantastic. I would like to thank each of the schools and libraries we visited for the warm reception and enthusiastic audiences:
Fruitvale Elementary, Fruitvale
JV Humphries School, Kaslo
Nelson Public Library, Nelson
Salmo Elementary, Salmo
Amy Woodland, Cranbrook
McKim Middle School, Kimberly
Fernie Heritage Library, Fernie
F.J. Mitchell Elementary School, Sparwood
Also, I would like to thank the Kootenay Library Federation for making this all possible!
