I received my copies of Dalen and Gole: Scandal in Port Angus yesterday. It’s really exciting to see the final version, they are nice and heavy with the full 120 pages. The folks at Orca did a great job of laying out the cover and putting the book together. It should be hitting the book shelves any day now!
8 preview pages are up on the Dalen and Gole site of the new book…
My first book Dalen and Gole: Scandal in Port Angus, written and illustrated by myself, is all finished and in the process of being printed. It should hit the shelves around the beginning of October. I have added a page in the books section with some pics and a summery, check it out here! There should be a site up soon and I will be posting more info about it in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
I will be launching Liam and I’s newest GGA, Power Play tonight beside a list of other spring Orca titles and their authors. It’s happening at the Victoria Events Center at 7:00. Stay tuned for information about Power Play’s website!

Devin and Nadia team up with Bounce, Pema and Marcus as they all travel to Northern Ontario to watch their parents present to the Summit of World Leaders. A swarm of politicians, lobbyists, corporate bosses and protestors have all converged on the summit to get their messages heard. A tragic accident just hours before their parents’ presentation plunges the kids into their biggest mystery yet and sets them on the trail of a murderer bent on stopping their parents’ controversial message from being heard.
It’s a fight against the planet’s power players as the kids dive into the world of politics, uncovering how government works, the history of democracy, the influence of lobbyists and corporations on politicians and the potential of civil society to change it all.
Over the summer I worked on illustrating Adventures at Camp Lots-o-fun by Marilyn Helmer, which came out this fall. I really enjoyed illustrating this fun story, I used ink and brush, and watercolor for the cover. For more information click here!
